1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account, booking or accepting rides, browsing this website, or otherwise using Chauffly services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the services.

2. Eligibility and accounts

• You must provide accurate, current, and complete registration details.
• You are responsible for safeguarding account credentials and sessions.
• You must promptly notify us of unauthorized account access.
• We may require identity or eligibility verification at any time.

3. Service model and availability

Chauffly is a technology platform that facilitates premium transport and mobility operations. Availability depends on geography, demand, driver capacity, vehicle status, and operational constraints.

4. Booking, fares, and estimates

• Displayed fares may include base fare, time, distance, taxes, and fees.
• Estimated fares are indicative and may change based on actual trip metrics.
• Surge pricing may apply where demand/supply conditions require it.
• You authorize us to charge valid payment methods for completed services.

5. Cancellation, no-show, and adjustments

Cancellation fees, waiting charges, and no-show charges may apply based on timing and ride state. Refunds, where applicable, are processed according to our internal payment and dispute controls.

6. Wallets, payments, and third-party gateways

Payment processing may be handled by licensed partners. You agree to their applicable terms where relevant. Chauffly is not liable for delays or failures caused by external payment systems outside our reasonable control.

7. User conduct and prohibited activities

You agree not to:

• Use the service for unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive activity
• Harass, threaten, or endanger any rider, driver, or staff member
• Manipulate fares, payment flows, location data, or booking events
• Upload false documents, impersonate identities, or bypass controls
• Interfere with platform integrity, security, or availability

8. Safety and compliance

For rider and driver safety, we may apply verification checks, real-time monitoring, incident investigations, and account restrictions. Failure to comply with safety instructions may result in suspension or termination.

9. Corporate accounts

Corporate features may include policy controls, employee management, invoicing, and analytics. Corporate administrators are responsible for authorized usage and internal governance of invited members.

10. Intellectual property

All platform content, branding, software, and associated materials are owned by Chauffly or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. No rights are granted except as expressly stated in these Terms.

11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Services are provided on an "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Chauffly disclaims implied warranties and is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunities.

12. Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Chauffly and its affiliates from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, and expenses arising from your breach of these Terms, misuse of the service, or violation of law.

13. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access where necessary for security, compliance, risk, payment default, fraud concerns, policy breaches, or legal obligations.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes shall first be raised through good-faith negotiation with Chauffly support. Where unresolved, disputes may be submitted to courts of competent jurisdiction in Nigeria, subject to applicable law.

15. Changes to these terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Updates become effective when posted unless otherwise stated. Continued use of the services after an update constitutes acceptance of revised Terms.
